What You Need To Know

On Monday morning, AlertsUSA subscribers were notified of a multi-agency response to reports of gunfire at Covenant School, a private Christian institution for Pre-K thru 6th Grade students in Nashville, TN.

In this incident, 28-year-old biological female Audrey Elizabeth Hale, who identifies as a male, approached a side entrance to the school and, without hesitation, fired rounds through the glass doors. Seconds later, she ducked under the push bars and entered the school with an AR-15, a 9mm carbine rifle, and a 9 mm Smith and Wesson handgun.

After walking around the school administration area, Hale began firing on students and staff. Within a few short minutes, the first arriving police units assembled a tactical team and began clearing rooms on the first floor. Moving towards the sound of gunfire on the second floor, officers encounter Hale as she was firing through a window at other arriving responders. Moments later the threat was eliminated.

In total, 14 minutes elapsed between the first emergency call being received and Hale being neutralized.

According to Nashville Police Chief John Drake, Audrey Hale lived locally and was a former Covenant School student. In the followup search of Hale's parent's home where she resided, police recovered a manifesto, additional firearms, and evidence of extensive planning for the attack, including a map of the school with a planned route for the shooting.

In total, three nine year-old students and three adults were shot and killed by Hale. Among the dead are a custodian, a substitute teacher, and the school's principle. One of the three children killed was the daughter of the pastor of the Covenant Presbyterian Church which is attached to the school.

No motive has been released by police, though early on Chief Drake kinda sorta eluded to gender issues possibly playing a role.

In a curious move only three days after the attack, President Joe Biden issued a proclamation marking a “Transgender Day of Visibility,” stating that trans-identified people “shape our nation’s soul."

Christians in the Crosshairs

Readers are cautioned that following the shooting, social media platforms were filled with transgender activists making threats, and in particular, towards Christians. In one such post, an activist includes a picture of a heavily armed person, dressed in pink, standing in front of the transgender flag, along with the following statement:

"Kill christcucks. Behead christcucks. Roundhouse kick a christcuck into the concrete. Slamdunk a christcuck baby into a trashcan. Crucify filthy christcucks."

There are even t-shirts available for purchase online showing different weapons, along with the saying 'Trans Rights.. Or Else.' (also see this and this).

AlertsUSA urges renewed caution and vigilance at any house of worship or affiliated school with doctrines and teachings against these lifestyles. As immorality and lawlessness continue to spread in our society, those institutions which are anchored in and teach conservative religious principles are increasingly being targeted. Now is the time to increase your security posture.

Societal entropy is not going away any time soon.

AlertsUSA continues to monitor the domestic and international threat environment around the clock and will immediately notify service subscribers, via SMS messages to their mobile devices, of new alerts, warnings and advisories or any developments which signal a change the overall threat picture for American citizens as events warrant.

Ukraine War Update+

March 31, 2023
What You Need To Know

According to the Institute for the Study of War:

  • Russian forces continued ground attacks along the Svatove-Kreminna line.
  • Russian forces made gains within Bakhmut and Ukrainian forces regained positions in the Bakhmut area.
  • Russian forces continued offensive operations along the Avdiivka-Donetsk frontline.
  • Ukrainian strikes against Russian concentration areas in southern Ukraine are likely causing the Russian grouping in the area to change tactics to avoid the risk of strikes.
  • Russian officials continue to state that Russian forces have no plans for a formal second wave of mobilization.
  • Russian officials continue to send Ukrainian children to camps in Russia.

According to the UK Ministry of Defence:

On 11 January 2023, Russian Chief of the General Staff (CGS) General Valery Gerasimov took personal command of the ‘special military operation’ in Ukraine.

Gerasimov’s tenure has been characterised by an effort to launch a general winter offensive with the aim of extending Russian control over the whole of the Donbas region. Eighty days on, it is increasingly apparent that this project has failed.

On several axes across the Donbas front, Russian forces have made only marginal gains at the cost of tens of thousands of casualties, largely squandering its temporary advantage in personnel gained from the autumn’s ‘partial mobilization’.

After ten years as CGS, there is a realistic possibility that Gerasimov is pushing the limits of how far Russia’s political leadership will tolerate failure.

Another Latin American Country Chooses China

The Biden administration seems adept at launching grand schemes that make it look as if it is doing something about countering China in Latin America, but American leadership seems to be entirely absent.

This absence of US leadership in Latin America has become seriously critical: senior military commanders in the US warn that China's actions in Latin America pose increasing risks to US national security.

What is the point of such [US] programs, however, if they are unable to stop Latin American countries from being forced to turn to China for leadership, or at least having the US try to counter yet another future Chinese takeover in Latin America?

Iran Has Attacked US Troops 83 Times Under Biden

“So, what kind of a signal do we think this sends to Iran when they can attack us 83 times since Joe Biden has become president and we only respond [with] four [operations],” Sen. Tom Cotton asked Defense Secretary Lloyd Austin rhetorically. “Maybe it’s because they know that we will not retaliate until they kill an American, which emboldens them to keep launching these attacks, which kill Americans.”

Building A New American Arsenal

Alarm bells are ringing at the Pentagon. The United States is rapidly depleting its munitions stockpiles to support the Ukrainian military. This support comes amid a serious backlog on the delivery of over $14 billion worth of arms shipments to Taiwan. The war in Ukraine has confirmed what was already widely known: America’s industrial base atrophied following the collapse of the Soviet Union.

Despite efforts to reshore and bolster the manufacturing base, reaching the production capacity needed to replenish stockpiles and prepare for the possibility of full-scale conflict with China remains improbable.
